What’s a GRS? It’s a test that is used to check if the yarn is 100% organic and recyclable or not? In simple words, your priority should always be buying a yarn that is GLobal Recycle Standard certified. Also, many people forget to check the carbon footprint of the yarn. After the GRS certification, the next most crucial thing is to check if the yarn has the lowest carbon footprint or not?
Carbon footprint means- how much carbon is released into the environment during the decomposition or burning of a material. The lowest carbon footprint, the better it is for the environment.
